Tennessee Waltz puts away another one. Today, Michael Hooks Sr., having pleaded guilty to accepting 24K in bribe money as County Commissioner, was sentenced to 26 months in prison.

Hooks, 56, told U.S. Dist. Court Judge J. Daniel Breen he didn’t feel he was wrongly prosecuted.

“I made a bad mistake. I’ve ruined the legacy of this family. I’ve got to find a way to make that right.”
